The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of Mr. Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as the new Head of the Ogun State Public Service.

The appointment follows the statutory retirement of the immediate past Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, according to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi.

Until his appointment, Mr. Saka served as the Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, where he played a key role in administrative coordination and government operations.

Mr. Saka began his career in the Ogun State Public Service on May 15, 1993, as a Classroom Teacher on Grade Level 08.

He later transitioned into the mainstream civil service in 2006 as a Senior Administrative Officer on Grade Level 09, rising through the ranks over the years.

Born on February 15, 1968, the new Head of Service is widely regarded as an experienced administrator with expertise in policy coordination and implementation strategies.

He is also a member of several professional institutions, including the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development.

The state government said Mr. Saka’s appointment reflects recognition of his dedication, commitment to duty, hard work, and outstanding contributions to the Ogun State Public Service.
