The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to hold an interfaith praise and prayer concert for its candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The programme, tagged “Vision 2027 Concert,” is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Ake Place, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The event is expected to bring together Christians and Muslims for thanksgiving, praise and prayers for the party’s candidates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi. 

According to the organisers, the interdenominational gathering is designed to provide an opportunity for participants to thank God for His faithfulness, seek divine guidance and commit the 2027 political journey into His hands.

The concert will feature Christian and Muslim sessions of praise and prayers, with participants expected to pray for the candidates, the nation, its leaders and the future of the country.

The organisers said the programme would also promote unity among people of different religious denominations and backgrounds.

“As we look ahead, it is important that we pause to give thanks to God for His faithfulness and seek His guidance for the journey before us,” the organisers said.

The APC added that the concert would offer participants an opportunity to come together in unity to praise God, offer prayers and commit their aspirations and responsibilities into His hands.
